Ly Orrock (they/them)
is a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Environmental Arts Therapist based in Brighton & Hove. They work with adolescents and adults, offering in-person psychotherapy and nature-based sessions in Stanmer Park. Their practice is rooted in creativity, safety, and connection, holding space for those navigating trauma, identity, and emotional overwhelm.
People have found Ly’s sessions a compassionate, affirming space to explore experiences at their own pace, in ways that feel authentic and meaningful. Through this work, clients often discover clarity, emotional balance, integration, and a deeper sense of self.
How They Work
Ly recognises that everyone’s journey is unique. Some people find relief through open conversation, while others connect more through movement, image-making, or simply being in nature. They draw on somatic, creative, and trauma-informed approaches to support nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. Sessions may involve natural materials, art, clay, storytelling, writing, or embodied awareness—whatever best supports the client’s process. Outdoor therapy in Stanmer Park provides a grounding environment where the natural world can help individuals reconnect with their bodies, identities, and sense of self in gentle, intuitive ways.
This approach is particularly supportive for clients who find traditional talk therapy limiting, including neurodivergent individuals, trauma survivors, and those undergoing life transitions or self-discovery.
